Blind Man and the Veil

Blindness has veiled You from seeing.
Rejoice, for lies a wisdom in it.
You see no evil.

You have the yearn to see the world.
Don't be.
Every evil comes by, with every glance.
You hope, I wish that I was in your state.

You walked day by day with your stick.
Guiding you as time went.
Men conquered by their own desires.
Oh! Saddening.

Having a hope less, was better.
Regrets will not be the cause of sorrow.
Govern by 'I want', attaining Purity was an obstacle.
Let the blindness be to the naked eye, for as long as the heart not veiled.

What may I do that the Veil be taken away?

Life, a Dream we live by everyday

Hopeful of the bounties from God

We can desire but God decides

Make plans or it shall perish

O Lord, smooth this Journey

This Heart utters

No ears hear It

But, for those who understand the Language, they shall know how deep It is

Reality has set its foot within Us

We knew that It needs to be fulfilled

Live it well

Love, a Language which no Mouth is allowed to speak of

Its forbidden for the Haters

Love makes the Heart contented but Hate darkens It further.

Have they not realized how their Hope were unfulfilled at times

Friends, they come and go

When they need You then, shall they find You

Every idea You have in mind

Never think that it shall be granted by humans

Every step taken to its fulfillment

Indeed, a wasted effort

What You thought might not be the end You wished for

Grant is by God

He wills what He wants

Wait not for any Human

For nothing will happen in their hands

Having your presence is just like kids around their father
Your stick is Your magic wand.

The stories You shared
It feels like We are living in the moment You are relating about
Your jokes just make us laugh
Every moment is just so beautiful.

Your voice is so pleasurable to the ears
What comes out from You just transmits through us
Never had I attended Your classes
For mawlid and zikr, Your voice is, indeed the soul of the majlis.

How You entertained those who came to You
You never discriminate them
Indeed, You treat them with Your tenderness and love
Through Your grace, You turn the hearts towards the Divine.

Having seeing Your current condition
Indeed, no one can resist from flowing tears
The hearts felt misery and sorrow
Once a smile, now tears remain.

When You were in the hospital
Many made a visit there
Inheriting Your teacher's knowledge
You remembered the Holy verses.

Resting on the bed
People visiting You from time to time
Giving their salutations and respect to You
They are indeed debtful to Your kindness.

With You around to manage, everything is in place
Now You are away, things became topsy-turvy under the hands of others
Attending these gatherings, these hearts longs for Your presence
Indeed, You made known how Islam is through Your character.

Ya Bagharib!
Your ancestors were Saints of their time
So are You, Your humor is the veil
The vest You wore made You stands out yet a unique Man You are...

You would adjust your conduct and even direct the course of your spirit according to hours and seasons.

Of time you would make a stream upon whose bank you would sit and watch its flowing.

Yet the timeless in you is aware of life's timelessness,

And knows that yesterday is but today's memory and tomorrow is today's dream.

And that that which sings and contemplates in you is still dwelling within the bounds of that first moment which scattered the stars into space.

Who among you does not feel that his power to love is boundless?

And yet who does not feel that very love, though boundless, encompassed within the centre of his being, and moving not form love thought to love thought, nor from love deeds to other love deeds?

Losing one man is like the extinction of a universe

Their presence enlighten the lovers' hearts.

Representatives of God, they ruled their lands.

You came into this World with having nothing
Yet you claim to be superior

Arrogance and pride defines you

None is spend wisely in the way of God

Not knowing that You are just filled with filth

But when comes to saluting Him s.a.w, Your mouth froze.

You furnishes your outer self with materialism

So dumbed that You failed to realize that

O Leader of All Prophets, O You my support,
You are the door to Allah, the One on whom I rely.

In this my dunya and in my afterlife,
O Messenger of Allah, take me by my Hand.

An oath was sworn "By the star when It declines", [1]
Good health and sickness are not alike.

So divest yourself of the two universes, except for
Love for the Master of the Arabs and non-Arabs.

He is the Master of Masters, from the people of Mudar,
The Great Helper of the people of desert and cities,

He was given signs (ayats) and suras,
He is the Source of Wisdom and Sacred Law.

Like a Moon, good and wholesome is his heart(s.a.w),
His character and his way of life.

He is the Most Pure and and Select of All People,
A Righteous Witness for People of Right and Wrong.

No eye has seen, or ever will see,
A human being the like of Thoha(s.a.w)

He is the best who ever left traces on Earth,
Pure in character and noble personal traits.
